Our gym is one of the few "HYROX Official Affiliate Gyms" in the Yokohama area.
HYROX is a globally exploding fitness race that alternates between running and 8 functional workouts.
We support everyone from those aiming to compete in races to those who want to dramatically improve their basic physical strength.
HYROX is a completely new style of fitness race that repeats "1km running" and "1 functional workout" 8 times. Its biggest appeal is that everyone from Olympic athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts can compete on the exact same course and events.
The HYROX classes at Freeletics Goals are fully equipped with the official gear used in actual races (SkiErg, Sled, Rowing, etc.). In a practical environment unique to an official affiliate gym, you comprehensively train your cardiovascular system, muscular endurance, and mental toughness to push past your limits, rather than just simply building larger muscles.
This program is perfect not only for those with the goal of "participating in a competition," but also for those who feel stuck in a rut with their daily training or want to gain overwhelming stamina.
The 8 functional movements that make up a HYROX race. You can practice all of these exercises at our gym.
Replicates cross-country skiing movements. Heavily engages the arms, shoulders, and core, providing the first cardiovascular challenge.
Push a heavy sled forward. Tests explosive lower body power and immense mental toughness.
Pull a heavy sled toward you using a rope. Back, biceps, and grip strength are absolutely crucial.
Continuous burpees combined with broad jumps. A grueling exercise where full-body fatigue often reaches its peak.
A full-body pulling motion on a rowing machine. The coordination of leg power and back strength determines your time.
Walk while holding heavy kettlebells in both hands. Requires solid core stability and forearm (grip) endurance.
Carry a heavy sandbag on your back and lunge forward. Relentlessly pushes your already fatigued legs to their limits.
The final event: squat with a medicine ball and throw it to a target on the wall. The last hurdle before the finish line.
Beginners can easily participate as the intensity can be adjusted.
